Adductor Advocate – Intermediate Level
Our peak pose is called Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana which means Extended Hand to Toe Pose.
It needs the outer hip and thigh muscles to work hard and the inner thigh muscles (the adductors) to lengthen.
It is super strengthening for the feet, ankles and legs in the balance and a lovely hip opener too.
We will warm up the hips and the hamstrings in seated and standing poses so the body is fully prepared for this pose.
Then some passive stretches for the legs and a lovely relaxing Shavasana to finish.
