Let’s Dance Natarajasana – Intermediate Level
The theme for our practice is a pose called Natarajasana – Lord Shiva’s Pose or Dancer’s Pose.
There are two different versions and we will have a go at both.
The pose has a backhanding element in it so as well as working on strengthening the legs and our sense of balance we will be opening up the front of the body and engaging the back body chain of muscles.
You may find that you dance around a little as you practice finding steadiness so persevere with it.
Symbolic of how we dance our way through the various challenges we come up against in our daily lives.
