” The thought of attending a yoga class as a complete novice can be rather scary. Inflexibility, poor core strength and looking ridiculous in Lycra are a few things that cross the mind. From the second I arrived, the environment felt relaxed, gentle music was playing and Jane approached me and I felt at ease. The class had a mixed bag of people so feeling self conscious doesn’t matter, I’ve come to learn that ability isn’t important and doing what you comfortably can is. For me personally, I find the yoga good for my mind and to improve strength but the best part is you leave feeling brilliant!!”
“I want to say thank you for a gentle yet totally effective and much needed yoga practice last night. A welcome workout after an indulgent Festive period!! I know I have not been a committed yogi over the past few years but always enjoy the sessions I attend with you and feel so much better for them. So THANK YOU.”

“I thoroughly enjoy Jane’s yoga classes which I have attended for the past three years. My yoga practice is key to my overall well-being and Jane’s teaching has enhanced both my technical ability and my appreciation of the holistic benefits of yoga. Jane’s classes are sufficiently challenging but also fun and I would recommend them to beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.”

“You’re sure to enjoy yoga with Jane. She’s friendly, experienced, thorough in her preparation, enthusiastic and always supportive no matter what level. Our bodies are unique and our abilities diverse; she encourages everyone. Her sessions are interspersed with humour, easy to understand and follow and she gives lots of information about the benefits of each movement throughout the practice. I’ve been enjoying her yoga for nearly two years, having worked with eight other teachers in the past and I would rank her at the top of my list.”

“I was recommended to have a trial of yoga from my physio following a sports injury 3 years ago which left me with a snapped Achilles so 12 months after surgery I decided to give it a go , thinking it would be simply a class I took each week to build up the strength in my legs …. I never realised at that time what a difference yoga can make in your life and how it becomes part of your everyday being and not a just a class to attend each week , Jane has guided me and taught me a new way to live your life developing each week and learning not only new and stronger poses but more about your inner self in a way I would never have dreamed possible only a short time ago!Jane is incredibly patient, giving everyone in her class the time and attention they need to improve and enjoy their yoga , her classes are also fun to be in and serious when it is needed, passing on in her own relaxing style her knowledge of the teachings of yoga , I can’t imagine yoga classes without Jane teaching me , long may it continue.”

“Hi, my name is Wendy and I have been practising Yoga for over 10 years, encountering a number of different styles of Yoga and teachers. I was looking for a more inspiring teacher about 3 years ago when I saw Radiant Heart Yoga on the internet.
The colours and Jane’s smile led me to get in touch. Jane Ashurst had classes at Vintage Studios in Bolton and the Unitarian Church in Egerton. I was greeted with a warm hug and Jane’s lovely relaxed, welcoming air and have not looked back since.Vinyasa Flow Yoga really suits me; I love the pauses and movement and grace.
Jane is very intuitive which makes her an amazing teacher.Even when she’s not looking at me directly I get the impression that Jane knows exactly what I am doing.Jane’s enthusiasm and belief in Yoga are tangible.I firmly believe everyone should and could practise Yoga and with teachers like Jane this is achievable.”
